A Closer Look at Our Pure Culture...

After we heat fixed our pure culture to a microscope slide and stained it we are ready to view it under the microscope.
Upon reviewing our bacteria under the microscope we discovered a couple different types of bacteria. They were primarily rod shaped curved rod shaped. But to further determine the different types of bacteria, we will have to do a gram stain to determine if the bacteria we have obtained has gram positive or gram negative cell wall.


Just for fun we looked at our pure culture under the microscope, an experimented with the different types of lighting! We discovered that our bacteria was growing out too.
